Abbie Chatfield has spoken out about her sudden split from boyfriend Konrad Bień-Stephens, saying she “won’t be commenting on anything” until he’s back in the country.
The pair’s breakup was confirmed to the Daily Mail and finally addressed by Chatfield, 27, on her Instagram Stories.
“Hey!!!! I’ve seen the articles about Konrad,” the radio host shared.

“He’s out of the country so I won’t be commenting on anything until he’s home. Can everyone not be so dramatic pls and relax. Both of us are totally okay,” she added.
“And can the paparazzi get their daily pic of me picking up dog poo then let me get a coffee in peace also.”
Bień-Stephens, 32, who is a former The Bachelorette Australia contestant, and Chatfield first started dating in November 2021.
Rumours of their relationship caused a stir in Australian media at the time, given Bień-Stephens was still technically starring in The Bachelorette and trying to win the heart of bachelorette Brooke Blurton for TV watchers at the time.
The episodes had been filmed months prior, however.
In a case of unfortunate timing, photos of the pair “canoodling” in Byron Bay were released close to the series finale, with an announcement of their relationship coming just a day after Bień-Stephens’ elimination from the show aired.

According to sources of the Daily Mail, Bień-Stephens has paired up with another The Bachelor alum.
Bień-Stephens is set to star in Channel 10’s upcoming reality TV series The Challenge, and sources claim on the first night of filming, he “hooked up” with influencer Megan Marx – to the surprise of everyone in the cast.
The pair reportedly “couldn’t keep their hands off each other”.
“On the first night of filming, he hooked up with Megan. I didn’t know what was happening,” a source told the publication. The cast is currently filming in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Sources also revealed that it was Chatfield who initiated the split.
“Konrad said he was single and his relationship with Abbie was over because she broke up with him,” they claim.
News of the pair’s split comes after they declared they’d begun an open relationship in February this year.
“First of all, we’re in love. Mummy and daddy aren’t breaking up … We’re just having a different structure to our relationship. So we’re open. We’re in an open relationship, which we love,” Chatfield told listeners on her popular podcast It’s A Lot.
At the time, Bień-Stephens admitted the concept was new to him, but one he was excited to try.
“I’ve never been in an open relationship before. But it’s something I want to explore and I want to navigate and learn,” he said on the podcast.
